The upcoming weeks are going to be busy ones, so I’ve decided to take a break from the blog. Best wishes to all for a very happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a wonderful New Year. Thank you for your kind support over the past year in the form of your comments, emails, and ‘like’s. I greatly appreciate the feedback and opportunities to exchange information and opinions.
I will check in periodically and respond to any emails and comments received. Meanwhile, I’ll remind you of two great (and easy) holiday recipes. Click the links provided below.
Enjoy, and all the best! Looking forward to delving into more family history in 2014. ~Gail

Just FYI, I have updated several posts:
- Mary Elizabeth (“May”) Boles post – updated to include a date of death and an obituary notice.
- Robert P. Brodhead Bio post – updated to include small bios for Robert and his father-in-law William Loveland, and a small image of William Loveland.
- Charles R. Brodhead post – includes a confirmation that Charles’ father (Daniel Dingman Brodhead Jr.) was also buried in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island.
Happy 4th of July, Everyone! In honor of all my great grandfathers who participated in the Revolutionary War, I am re-posting last year’s listing of my ancestors. There have been a few edits/additions made since then. Enjoy your celebrations!
I have quite a few pressing matters to attend to between now and the end of the year, so posts between now and then will be infrequent. But I will be monitoring the blog regularly to respond to any comments/questions/new information. And, as always, feel free to get in touch via chipsoff at gmail dot com.
